About the Trainer
My name is Mark Haner and I’m the owner and trainer of Aim to be Fit Women’s Boot Camps.
I started my boot camps in November of 2006 after working as a personal trainer in both a health club and as an in-home trainer. While it was nice helping people get results, the one-on-one environment lacked energy. So I started my camps to create an exercise environment with great energy, but also to give people the benefits of a personal trainer at a much more affordable rate.
I have been involved in exercise for 13 years, the last three of which I’ve spent as a fitness professional. I have watched countless people try exercise programs from magazines or DVDs. I’ve worked at the big health clubs and I’ve seen how many people have a gym membership just so they have access to a treadmill. Precious few of them ever get results.
I have honed this program so you will get results, you won't fall into the common traps that catch so many people who try to go it alone. I will put my knowledge and experience to work for you.
I spend my time constructing efficient, ever-changing workouts so you don't have to think about it. You spend your time working hard, having fun with the others in camp with you, and getting fit.
My camps are based on the belief—and backed up by the data—that working hard is how you get and stay fit.
When I’m not running my business, I coach basketball and track & field at a local high school. I love the feeling of helping people accomplish something they never thought they could— it’s the feeling that has had me hooked on coaching for the last nine years and what makes me love my camps.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 with a BA in Communications. I currently live in Lynnwood, WA with my beautiful wife.
